Delamere Manor has a long and interesting history, especially for Take That fans like Sarah, so we were delighted when Katie and Andrew asked us to film and photograph their big day there.
We arrived just before Katie and the girls, so the fun started straight away with everyone loving the luxurious surroundings. Delamere Manor is set in over 100 acres of rolling Cheshire countryside, majestically overlooking a stunning six-acre lake. The manor house itself is more like a home than a hotel (it was previously Gary Barlow’s home), but on a magnificent scale, and with 5 star luxury throughout.
Delamere Manor has 5 different licenced spaces depending on the size of the wedding party. Katie and Andrew opted for the Courtyard, a gorgious starlit covered area, with an outdoor feel without the risk of being rained on.
Despite some mixed (typical summer in Cheshire) weather, the sun eventually came out. Katie, Andrew and their guests were able to enjoy the magnificent gardens at Delamere Manor.
The Courtyard was the venue again for the wedding breakfast. The space had been expertly setup for the meal with help from wedding stylist, Lindsey from Penelope Petal Creations (who was also one of the bridesmaids, so she had a really busy day).
With the good weather holding, we used the golf buggy to head down to the lake for some more photographs of Katie and Andrew.
We were back in the Courtyard for the first dance, before heading through to the Nightclub where the music can be cranked up without upsetting the neighbors.
Katie and Andrew opted for our Same Day Edit film, with a slight twist. Instead of a big screen viewing before the first dance with all their guests, we gave them an exclusive viewing on our laptop. They loved it immediately and we had a second viewing with some of their close family straight afterwards. Here’s the film:
