Gellifawr Woodland Retreat Wedding Photography – Erin & Dan
There’s something truly magical about a woodland wedding, and Erin and Dan’s special day at Gellifawr Woodland Retreat in Wales was no exception. Nestled in the heart of the Pembrokeshire countryside, this enchanting venue provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration filled with love, laughter, and natural beauty.
Although we photograph a lot of wedding in North Wales, we’d never actually had the opportunity to go further south to Pembrokeshire. What a lovely part of the world it is! It’s quite out the way of course, so we made the most of the opportunity and stayed for a few days at the Golden Lion in Newport, which we can heartily recommend.
Gellifawr Woodland Retreat is not too far away , over a few hills in a tranquil unspoilt valley. Erin and Dan opted for our Fusion Photo package which incorporates a film including a selection of stills and video clips from the day (which you can see below). We played the film on our big screen for everyone to see just before the 1st dance.
As a wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to the unique stories each couple brings to their day, and Erin and Dan’s wedding was a beautiful testament to their connection. Erin looked stunning in her flowing gown, while Dan’s beaming smile said it all—this was a day they’d been dreaming of for years.
Gellifawr is arranged like a small village with several different buildings dedicated to various parts of the wedding day. The ceremony room, Seren Yn Codi, is a gorgeous space and was beautifully decorated for Erin and Dan’s big day.
