Fusion Photography at Styal Lodge
Our Fusion Package has rapidly become the most popular option for our brides and grooms, and Amanda and Ian’s choice for their wedding photography at Styal Lodge in Cheshire. The package includes some filming as well as photography, and we produce a short film on the day using a combination of still images and video clips.
Getting Ready in the Bridal Room
For Amanda and Ian’s wedding Stuart began the day working with our friend and colleague Nick (Sarah taking over from Nick after the ceremony). We started the day at Styal Lodge, where Amanda and the girls were getting ready in the Bridal Room. One of the great attractions of this wedding venue is this fantastic spacious room, where the bride and her bridesmaids can get ready. The room is very well lit, with views of the lovely gardens, so it’s ideal for makeup artists to do their work. It’s also right next to the ceremony room, and makes a very convenient extra bit of private space available through the rest of the day and evening.
Getting Married in the Ceremony Room
The spacious ceremony room at Styal Lodge can accommodate up to 150 people, but also works really well for smaller numbers. The dining area is separate so there’s no problem with having to rush to setup for the meal afterwards.
Refreshments in the Garden at Styal Lodge
Amanda and Ian left the ceremony room amid a shower of confetti. The private gardens at Styal Lodge are perfect for relaxing and enjoying some liquid refreshments after the ceremony. They also make a perfect backdrop for group photos.
Portrait Photographs at the Lake
We took a trip in a golf cart for the couple photographs at the lake. It’s a lovely spot not too far from the lodge, but having the cart certainly saved the Manolo Blahniks.
The Wedding Breakfast
The tables had been beautifully set for the wedding breakfast. We loved the selection of gin bottles.

Evening Reception at Styal Lodge
With the Fusion package, we produce the short film above on the day, and show it to the happy couple and all their guests in the evening. It’s a great way to get the party started, and we bring our screen, projector and PA system, so everybody gets a great view.
Amanda and Ian are keen ballroom dancers, and it showed
