You know you’re in a five star hotel when as you’re waiting for the bride and groom to arrive in their wedding car, Noel Gallagher strolls out of the front entrance (presumably doing some Christmas shopping, I wonder if Liam is on the naughty list). This was all quite fitting, as Rebecca and Luke had the look of a couple of movie stars throughout their big day at the Chester Grosvenor.
We started the day with Rebecca at her parent’s place in the lovely village of Thornton Hough on the Wirral. There was a great atmosphere as the girls were getting ready, excited, and not too stressed, a perfect start to the day.
Before heading over to the Chester Grosvenor, we headed over to Christchurch, a beautiful traditional CofE church in Higher Bebington. The guys were beginning to welcome the arriving wedding guests. Michael, the vicar at Christchurch, is quite a character. Very friendly, funny and confident in what he does. We’ve worked with him before, and look forward to doing so again. If you’re looking to get married in a nice church, with a friendly vicar, we would definitely recommend him.
Love these shots of Luke getting emotional as Rebecca and the girls walk down the aisle.
It was pretty chilly outside, so just time for a confetti moment before heading off to Chester.
One of the most prestigious and famous hotels in the North West of England, the Chester Grosvenorhas always been a popular wedding venue. Steeped in history going back to the 18th century, the Grosvenor is situated next the the landmark Eastgate Clock in the heart of Chester. Rebecca and Luke’s big day was just a week before Christmas, so you can imagine the amount of shoppers in the city centre at that time.
