A beautiful sunny and happy North Wales wedding at Henllan Church and the Vale Country Club.
Every wedding we photograph or film is special and unique in its own way, but sometimes you can get a combination of people, venue, weather etc that just adds up to make it an awesome wedding. We’ve had several weddings like that this year and Sasha & Oliver’s was definitely one of them.
When Jane was interviewed by the Daily Mail back in May this year she said her wedding was going to be “an unashamedly big do — a celebration, involving more than 100 guests, a glorious stately home and the best food, music and flowers we could afford”. She wasn’t exaggerating.
The Hope Street Hotel in Liverpool is a really stylish, modern hotel in a great part of the city near to the Philharmonic Hall (and of course the Philharmonic Pub where Leon and the guys gathered before the wedding). The ceremony room is high up, with amazing views across the city and even as far as North Wales, and the evening party was held in the basement.
The wonderfully restored Sefton Park Palm House in Liverpool is a truly unique setting for a wedding, with beautiful tropical flowers and foliage throughout, and surrounded by the picturesque Sefton Park. We are a recommended supplier for the Palm House, and it’s one of our favourite venues.
Heaton House Farm is a purpose built wedding venue, as well as a working farm. Our first wedding there was in December 2014, and we’ve been back several times since then. It seems to be rapidly becoming one of the most sought after wedding venues in the North West, with a selection of beautiful spacious rooms, amazing views, spacious and modern facilities, and helpful friendly staff. It’s a place we love to work at!
As official preferred photographers for Knowsley Hall, it’s a venue that we work at quite regularly. It’s also one of our favourite venues, fantastic for photography both inside and out. I hope you enjoy these images from Jen & David’s winter wedding at Knowsley Hall.
Charlotte & Mark were married at Saint John’s Church in Chester, a large and beautiful building which was once Chester cathedral (before the current Cathedral was built). After the ceremony, we went to the Craxton Wood Hotel on the Wirral for the wedding reception.
Arley Hall in Cheshire is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the North West, famous for its gardens. This was the stunning location for Liz and Stephen’s wedding ceremony and reception.
Rookery Hall near Nantwich in Cheshire is a very popular wedding venue, set in beautiful countryside, and combining modern facilities with the more traditional older sections of the Hotel. Ken and David had their wedding ceremony and reception in the Nantwich Suite.
The beautifully renovated Lancashire Manor, near Wigan, is becoming a very popular wedding venue, and we have photographed several weddings there over the last year or two. Jenny and Mike’s wedding featured a casino, which was a lot fun for all the guests, and fortunately no real money was involved.
Helen & Matt chose the Malmaison Hotel in Liverpool for their wedding venue. A modern and very stylish hotel, popular with celebrities, and close to Pier Head and the Liver Building. One nice thing about this hotel is that above the hotel floors are several floors of luxury serviced apartments, these are great for brides and their entourage as they can stay the night before and have plenty of space for getting ready in the morning.
